You can use this powerful command to locate a formula you wish to update, a set of values that have changed, and the formatting applied to cells. Find and replace allows users to specify elements to locate in a spreadsheet. In the Find what: box, type the text or numbers you want to find.One of Excelâs most powerful formatting tools is the Find and Replace command. By default, it will display with Search Options hidden. Note: In the following example, we've clicked > Search Options to show the entire Find dialog. To replace text or numbers, press Ctrl+H, or go to Home > Editing > Find & Select > Replace.
